Whatever you do in this New Year, choose simplicity. Don't try to figure everything out. Don't try to strategize your every move. Don't try to do more than one thing at a time.
Enjoy what is simple. Watch the sunset. Pet an animal. Smile at a baby. Look into someone's eyes. Say "I love you," to someone you love. Give a gift - a free gift. Notice when a bird sings. Feel the wind on your face.
Don't try to do too much today. If you must have a "to do" list, keep it short.
Next time you take a breath, say: "thank you."
